What use is raising the terrorism alert level after an attack has occurred? Doesn't it sort of fulfill the terrorists' wishes by inflicting economic damage well beyond the physical attack?
- unchocked 11y agoThey use follow-on attacks as a tactic.
- ekianjo 11y agoBecause we don't know if it's the end of the attacks yet.
- davrosthedalek 11y agoTwo reasons: Follow-up attacks, as others have noted, and it makes it easier to catch them.
