Jane Street makes up 2% of all equity trading in the US (by dollars), on a typical day. They're a 400 person quantitative trading company.
RenTec is a hedge fund that has done something like 30% annual gains over like 30+ years.
- alexeiz 11y agoAh, Renaissance. Yes, they do seem to have some secret sauce that allows them to stay profitable. But I doubt that technology is their strong suite.
