Doing this on LinkedIn would be really bad, because that data would be out there for recruiters, and you'd lose most of your leverage when trying to negotiate at a new job.
- forrestthewoods 11y agoOr you'd get contacted my recruiters offering you sacks of cash. Or you'd get an offer and be able to see what current employees and competitor employees make. Secret salary information has near exclusive financial benefit to the employer. The only employee benefit is protecting their feeling.
