- monk_e_boy 11y agoThis. That's why silicon valley. That's why working remotely doesn't work very well for most people. Non verbal communication is very important for trust.
- hanspeter 11y agoNow I'm imagining a meeting in silicon valley where participants are using only sign language.
- mikeryan 11y agoIts also not just closing a single deal but also creating the relationship for the next X deals. (Note: I'm sure parent understands this.)
- Inthenameofmine 11y agoI wonder how Virtual and augmented reality will change that. Just being able to Skype or use Whatsup with my clients during the day, ad-hock, has hugely changed the way I build business relationships.
