  Sounds like it. They kept emailing me and I kept ignoring it, thinking it was just a routine update. Had no idea that you had to update in the next couple of days.

  iirc, they're dropping support for SSLv3 which was used on older firmwares. There's some discussion about this on the mobileread forums [0]. Thought that was discussed, but can't find the post so I might not be remembering correctly.
