- eropple 11y agoI'm not sure why you'd say that. TripAdvisor, my first FT gig, offered new hires $85K in Boston in 2010, plus a pretty significant stock package. Today, in 2016 (or even last year), $90K in a similar CoL, similar demand market is nothing to write home about.
- chillacy 11y agoI can confirm that it sounds reasonable. My offer was over 100k at amazon a few years ago as a new college grad (though I declined). Glassdoor seems to confirm that this is the norm nowadays.
- stale2002 11y agoUnlikely. New grads get 100k easy, at any company in the Bay Area, NYC, or Seattle. Thats just the market rate.
- aub3bhat 11y ago90k$ is low, I have seen several get 140k$ (Base + Signing bonus) for SDE roles out of college.
