Why not let people figure out how to spend their time themselves? Millions of retirees do this succesfully every year, when they transition out of the workforce. Saying that UBI is bad because people would a priori become restless, and that we therefore need to preserve a bullshit busywork corporate culture, is as much of an von-oben argument that UBI is bad because people would be lazy and sit on their asses all day.
