IMO, the only questionable statement he made is the following: “The government was not happy with us not bidding that, because they bent over backwards to lean the field to our advantage,” This is a serious accusation (corruption) and shouldn't be taken lightly and the upper management has every right to fire him for that. Other than that, it's just a harmless case of "drunk words/sober thoughts".
