Occam's Razor: 1. Revenue Problem or 2. Neo-Luddite Problem?
- Futurebot 11y agoI honestly hope it's the former.
- taneq 11y agoAdvertising revenues (their main income stream) are under fire on all fronts. Hardware is expensive and messy. They probably want to refocus their 'moon shots' in fields closer to their core expertise. Advertising, big data, AI. I wouldn't be surprised if they scale back on the hardware side of self-driving cars as well.
