Zach was fired from GitHub last year, after which he published a few tweets and a blog post that got a great deal of attention here. Now he is revisiting the situation, both to mine lessons from it and to make peace with it. There is some room for agreement or disagreement with Zach's characterization of the circumstances, as indicated by many of the comments on this thread. Regardless, I think it's a worthwhile and interesting read.
