How do you measure "advantage"? or "recidivism"? If an alcoholic goes to AA and "feels better", don't you think that might have some relationship between various other factors? The metric of either drinking or not drinking == "success" varies quite dramatically between people depending upon their aim.
- mchahn 11y agoI would have to go back and watch the episode, which I may do. My memory of it was just the simple relapse rate, which would have to be based on a period of time. I don't know where they got the numbers to compare to AA, but I assume many studies have statistical results on this. Edit: It is season 2 episode 10 and I am going to watch it asap.
