It seems as though the tech community (myself included) uniformly agrees that the FBI's requests are unreasonable. Is there someone with a sound technological understanding of encryption that thinks we should have some back door / key escrow / master key? I've seen that Fred Wilson and other USV partners seem to think the FBI's requests are reasonable, and usually I trust their analysis. But this whole thing just seems like such a bad idea.
