But seriously, given the increasing "media savviness" of subsequent generations (from Baby Boomers who grew up with TV, to Gen Y for whom the Internet is a given), the general ability across the spectrum of humanity to synthesize disparate information sources and filter them, compare and contrast, decide what is 'truthy' vs actually true... is increasing.
