Admittedly an aside, but why the author's little jibe about Sigma lenses being amateur? My 18-35mm outperforms Zeiss and Canon glass that is 3 times its price.

- jonah 11y agoI think he was saying they look amateur. An excellent lens from a "cheaper" brand would be exactly what you'd want to bring to get excellent images without flaunting your wealth/professionalism with the fancier brands.
