Designing for big-O performance is a good thing to do while writing code. Optimizations beyond that are typically an anti-pattern.
- pjscott 11y agoAs the author emphasizes, that depends on the speed requirements of your software. There are places where nanoseconds matter, just as there are places where tens or hundreds of milliseconds don't.
