This article signals that big VCs have officially become a part of the establishment (lobbying, hosting Obama dinners, etc), and Fred Wilson is volunteering to plead compliance to the powers above.
- ska 11y agoI doubt there was every any useful sense in which big VCs were not part of the establishment.
- fredwilson 11y agoi accept your criticism even though i don't agree with it. but i can assure you that i have not hosted any obama dinners :)
- jellicle 11y agoThat was my reading too. This isn't a post for public consumption; this is a coded communication to the U.S. national security apparatus that Mr. Wilson is willing to play ball. Of course, he could have just emailed anybody with the same message, and they would have gotten it...
