Why flask and not bottle? I thought flask hadn't been maintained in a few years? Anyone know of a similar course for bottle?

- jonesetc 11y agoLooking at github, they both seem to pretty much be in maintenance mode. Flask seems to generally be the more popular framework too.
- toyg 11y agoAfaik Flask is actively developed, but you'll have to run it out of github rather than wait for "blessed" releases.
- detaro 11y agoFlask hasn't cut a release in ages, but is maintained. And the last release works just fine. More critically, all it's dependencies are maintained and fix a lot of issues for flask (e.g. Werkzeug, which does most of the HTTP handling). (Seems like the next release is supposed to be the "magical" 1.0, and that takes a lot longer than expected to get right. Maybe this summer?)
