Granted, lower taxes are different. Better infrastructure, more child support, ... still are the same problem, IMO. Yet, the system -- somehow -- works. FWIW, that's the reason I'm in Churchill's camp: "It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried." Democracy relies on politicians believing what they say. It is easily gamed. Yet I have no better alternative. Challenge my view :)
