  No, that needs to be invented. That's why it's hard.

    If it has to be invented it's not hard tech, it is hard science. YC has a separate strategy for that.

      For these kinds of projects, the line is very blurry, though I agree there is a large science component. Can't make use of the science portion of it if the engineering portion isn't ready, too.
