I think what I worry about the most is how poorly the modern web partners with assistive technology: it feels like we're actually taking steps backwards.
- jacquesm 11y agoThat is a very large part of my point, the viewer is no longer in control. That was one of the beautiful concepts of the web, that the reader could be anything, a person, a screen reader, a computer program and so on.
- philipov 11y agoTo me, it seems the trend is to ditch both the app and the browser, and just provide a web api that can be used with anything that supports http.
