It turned out well! I didn't make a control sample, but both my girlfriend and I enjoyed it (for both steaks last night, and steak burritos today for lunch).

It turned out well! I didn't make a control sample, but both my girlfriend and I enjoyed it (for both steaks last night, and steak burritos today for lunch). As the author suggested, we also added garlic and rosemary to the salting process. I'm kinda new to cooking steaks, so I don't have a lot of experience to measure this against, but I think I will do this again next time.
