Ask HN: Camcorder recommendations on a budget?

I need to make a few videos and I really like this style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBeC2UkbR98 I know Final Cut Pro X. I have friends that are good with filming. My wife can voice over. We have mics already. But I can't spend a lot on a camera. Any recommendations?
