Are there any widespread pedagogic or management practices that are built on top of ego depletion?
- inanutshellus 11y agoI'd say it has had a profound effect. The thought that you can wear down someone's willpower by making them make too many decisions is pretty scary if your job is to make decisions. One work-around that, for example, the POTUS has espoused is wearing the same clothes every day. (One less decision to make.)
