I recently bought a new screen, I went online searched for models in my price range. went over specs etc to find which model I like the most. Then did a final price search on that monitor. I got it 60 cheaper than the price I got on the first search. (in this case I bought for €180 and elsewhere it was listed €240) This is what I usually do when searching for something, if you look at the specs you don't have to be an expert to find out what is important, and if it is too confusing then read some bad reviews on the product you are searching for.
