> Pentagon advisory board aimed at bringing Silicon Valley innovation and best practices to the U.S. military snark: The US military already know how to move fast and break things. DARPA and the Pentagon have done a tremendous amount to move technology forward, over the decades. But, I personally would feel more comfortable if it were a non-military organization that were in the lead role. Technology should be a means to improve humanity and decrease human suffering. What the Pentagon wants out of technology, at least in a proximate sense, is something completely different.
