12 years ago we moved from Silly Valley (where I worked for 20 years at places you've definitely heard of, and some start-ups) to the Seattle area. Great move, would do it again. With the exception of a little weather and geography (the motorcycling is definitely poorer up here), I don't miss SV at all. I definitely don't miss California. Never going back there.
