It seems like the Vive should be able to play all the oculus launch games from a technical standpoint, but not vice versa because every Vive game really takes advantage of the finely tracked hand controllers and ability to wander through a room. Being able to intuitively grab and throw things in games like Job Simulator and budget cuts was a really eye opening and amazingly fun experience.
