You nailed it! Removing parking from city centers to public transports hub, that can work. Where I live, around Geneva, depending on the direction you come from, switching from car to train/bus is either impossible or very expensive.
- saiya-jin 11y agoyet we have P+R on the edges to do exactly that. Bear in mind parking there is almost as expensive as in some private parking in centre, and having parking there + GVA public transport will get you a private parking spot for same amount, and probably no time saved either. This city is broken on so many levels, completely outside of usual Swiss perfection, that it doesn't drown itself in the traffic every day only because it's tiny. Oh and the banks keep the treasury filled enough to maintain it (but not improve and any significant way)
