I wonder how far the clock speed needs to increase further to be usable for x86-64 emulation? Sure you can recompile, but docker/sandstorm.io/etc type binary packages would be nice to run as-is.

Take a look at Eltechs' tooling - you can already do usable emulation for certain classes of software.
