You seem to be complaining that your students are able to most-correctly (within the realm of their knowledge) solve the problems posed to them.
- analog31 11y agoAh, good question. Most of my students did OK, and were generally good at doing whatever was necessary to get a decent grade. My complaint had more to do with how the problems were posed -- they seem to create a rather stilted view of what math is about.
