Interesting how the airline industry has become a race to the bottom.

- two2two 11y agoAvg. air fares have only dropped 13.8% since 1995. Nearly 20 years of innovation later.
- masterleep 11y agoSounds like a fantastic achievement compared to college education, health care, or government.
- rayiner 11y agoIn 1995, jet fuel was $0.50 per gallon. Between 2010-14 it was almost $3 per gallon. It's about $1 now.
- bendykstra 11y agoThe bottom being an exceptionally safe and rapid form of transportation. As someone who is willing to endure mild discomfort in return for $20-$100, I welcome this new option.
