- smt88 11y agoPower lines in much of the US are hideous and fall very frequently. SkyTran would amplify those bad qualities with especially serious consequences regarding safety. I don't want to live below (or near) fast-moving vehicles that could fail at any time. And don't tell me they wouldn't fail, because power companies can't even keep flexible, durable power lines from falling down on a fairly regular basis. Imagine if a tree fell into the track?
