A lot of what is now called Native comes from Javascript — every time we use `querySelector(All)`, for instance, it’s because of jQuery’s influence. Which makes me a bit less nostalgic than this author: every time I use qsa I think “Thanks, jQuery”, but I don’t need to use jQuery itself anymore…
