Do you not try to negotiate then? BB is within their range, and presumably you can argue why you're more deserving than the lower end of their scale. Why would they not go for BB?
- betadreamer 11y agoOf course you will negotiate but a lot of companies have equations/guidelines. "We've paid X salary to our employee that is similar to you" or "With N years of experience at most we will pay X". Some companies have no negotiation policy. Also a lot of time employer loves to pull a card of "let's start from here". They will give you an example employee that got promoted twice in just a year. The point is to save more time.
