I think most all would agree with United States as #1. I would have to guess that China would be much higher on population alone. I mean China at 1.3 billion vs let's say Germany with 80 million?? They would certainly have 10 times as many programmers. Too low (or need to be higher) would be China, Canada, and an honorable mention -for Israel - which didn't make the list? Maybe there are not enough population? Israel has a vibrant tech community and one of the best tech universities outside the US. I know Google opened offices there. I would put it: 1)United States 2)Russia 3)China 4)United Kingdom 5)India 6)Germany 7)Canada 8)France 9)Korean 10)Israel
