- People shot dead by terrorists are way less than by some gangs or psychopaths
- Privacy protects us from foreign surveillance
- To reduce number of people shot dead by gun (not by polices, not suicides), it is more reasonable to restrict gun access than to create backdoors for mass surveillance

- AlgorithmicTime 11y agoIt's a false dichotomy. This is not a situation where we must choose one or the other. We can (and should) choose freedom. Freedom to encrypt, and freedom to bear arms.
