This is, hands-down, the worst part of being hired to "build a website." I can absolutely build you a website. I can make it work however you'd like. I'm a crappy designer, but I can cobble together HTML/CSS into something that looks reasonably professional via pattern matching on sites you like or just using bootstrap. But ultimately, you're gonna need to have something to say.
