Completely disagree. Lots of sponsored search results are already what I'm looking for in the first place.
- falcolas 11y agoThe difference, in my experience, is that clicking on the non-ad result takes me to the company's home (or product) page, which is what I wanted. On the other hand, clicking on the ad usually takes me through several dozen redirects and to some form of ad on the company's site, at which point I need to find a way to navigate to the product page. The usability of ad clicks from Google is usually significantly worse than the organic results, even when they're the same company.
