Can i use dnf update on fedora to update the gitlab package if I have the repo installed? I am on fedora 23 and doing dnf update doesnt upgrade gitlab. Also doing a dnf install gitlab-ce gives me a message that gitlab-ce-8.2.0-ce.0.e17.x86_64 is already installed.
- sytse 11y agoIt worked with rpm so I assume dnf should work as well. Maybe you have to update your sources first since we have our own package server? If maybe you installed the package by downloading instead of adding the source server? Consider following the instructions on https://about.gitlab.com/downloads/ https://about.gitlab.com/downloads/ (the main instructions, not 'select and download the package manually and install')
