- rhino369 11y agoThey ask apple to code the firmware so it only works on that specific iphone. And it would be signed so they cannot edit the firmware. Finally, the FBI even said they'd agree to do this on Apple campus and then actually give the iphone to apple after they copied data off it. There is zero chance they could reuse it.
