It's been "not available" here forever: http://www.aspyr.com/games/sid-meiers-civilization-iii-complete http://www.aspyr.com/games/sid-meiers-civilization-iii-compl...
I've tried playing the Windows version via Parallels but it fails out during load.
- nicolas_t 11y agoGo here http://paulthetall.com/civilization-3-mac/ http://paulthetall.com/civilization-3-mac/ and follow the instructions. It's a wine wrapper that's already configured specifically for Civ III
- zyxley 11y agoHave you tried it with Wine? Wineskin (http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/ http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/) lets you package Wine installs as self-contained Mac apps, which takes most of the hassle out of it.
- brandnewlow 11y agoI will give it a go!
- chadzawistowski 11y agoI have gotten it to run in Wine before, after struggles with `lsans.fot`.
- sevensor 11y agoThis is how I play Civ 3, and it works great except that it hangs on exit. Fine by me.
