If, as the article asserts, HQ-9 incorporates Patriot missile technology given to them by Israel, conventional aircraft would certainly not be safe.
- exhilaration 11y agoWhy would the Israelis do this?? Here's the line from the article: "According to Missile Threat, the Chinese developed much of the HQ-9’s technology from a Patriot battery Beijing acquired from Israel" Is this true?

- skywhopper 11y agoIncorporating Patriot technology does not mean it's as good as a Patriot. Nor that they have enough of them to seriously threaten our non-stealth fighter fleet.
