Building a startup doesn't make you special
- purincessuautou 11y agoThe author of this comes off as an aggressive jerk, but I will agree that a lot of entrepreneurs and start up founders have this holier-than-thou attitude. I took a (useless) course on entrepreneurship at my university and a large part of it was studying the personality traits of successful entrepreneurs and how your personality should be like. It all just seemed to devolve into mental masturbation with entrepreneurs giving talks about how they were great and how you should be like them and how important they are to the world. Another thing I've noticed is that this self-aggrandizing attitude leads those same people to treat others (employees, friends, etc) like shit.
