So your friends/family/whoever can use it if you're not there? So somebody else can use it while you are? I have remote apps on my phone, but never use them. I'd much rather use my Logitech one (or even the one the device(s) came with if needed).

So sync to a server that stores your remote layout based on your wifi name/some other criteria?
