This solves the problem of inflating the Blockchain, now a user can have multiple offline transactions and have it count as only 1 when everything is settled. Anyone else think Micropayments in Bitcoin will be it's killer app?

We could be doing that now, on the blockchain instead. Inflating the block chain isn't really a "problem" until you get to very large values.
