So much this. I have been working in a company which was run by sales, who thought 'how hard can it be?' all the time. Sales did not sell, company was sinking, sales disagreed. I left.
- JoeAltmaier 11y agoAstonishing especially in the startup world. Where your product better get the respect of other innovators and early adoptors, or you're sunk. Yet sales asks for mainstream average performance/features. And can't seem to find any traction. I've unfortunately experienced more than one startup failure due to sales getting control.
