Here are my reasons for not clicking on ads. 1. Knowledge - I know an ad when I see one. And I know someone's getting paid for that click. It's like knowing the trick behind a magic trick. 2. I used to click ads - I clicked a ton of ads when I was still learning to use the web. So now, my bullshit detector is well trained. It can tell spam just from the URL, the wordings, the color... 3. I see fewer ads now - Host blocking + ublock block origin.
