I use pomodoro now and then. It makes sense for me when a big task can be split into parts without disrupting the mental flow. So I use it on days when I'm digesting some technical details and need to concentrate for the whole day 10-12 hours. But for coding ? no can do. I code better if I remain undisturbed & in the zone for a few hours at a stretch. And calling it a 'must have' for success in life is an exaggeration.
