I'm wondering how long it'll stay that way, personally.
- Zev 17y agoI'd rather wait for more information to come out before deciding if I want to be outraged or not. For all we know, the block isn't targeted at 4chan specifically, but the IP's to try and fight a DDoS (which is, iirc, what happened with AT&T). Verizon's FIOS network might be able to handle the extra traffic from such an event, even if their wireless network can't. One interesting thought is: if a DDoS is the case, it might speak a bit about how the network would survive if Verizon got the iPhone.
- jolie 17y agoYah, I mentioned the DDoS issue in my post and in an email to moot. We'll see what happens.
- benatkin 17y agoIf you wait for more info to come out, there's a good chance you'll wait until it's too late. Who am I kidding? Donating $50 to the EFF is probably worth 50 hours of complaining online, with my limited reach. BTW, I just donated that $50. :)
