Is the BBC news site any good? I used to use it a lot in its old form, when there was less whitespace and more content. When I look at it now it seems like there's barely anything there. Most of the stories appear to be videos, which I rarely bother watching. One of the (paper) publications I most enjoy reading is Private Eye, which has a very messy layout with virtually no whitespace, is mostly black and white and has lots of information.
